The goal is to keep you informed and safe, by providing live updates on the current outdoor conditions and offering advice on how to go about your day accordingly. We also consider warning sensitive individuals who may need to take extra precautions to safeguard their health.
Through interactive data visualization, our goal is to make the understanding of pollutant concentration in your area easily digestible.
The different pollutants (particulate matter, ozone, carbon monoxide, sulphur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide) are represented as dots, each accompanied by explanations about their sources and associated health concerns.
Pollution Pulse is a platform for environmental education and advocacy. We encourage users to delve deeper into the issue of climate change and explore the environmental impacts of everyday choices.
